Is being a beginner holding you back from public speaking?

At first, it feels like it’s an obstacle. Many people view being a beginner as a disadvantage + that ends up limiting their potential!

BUT – it’s possible to leverage being a beginner + turn it into an advantage!

Here are ways it can work in your favour…

You don’t have any negative experiences (or any experiences for that matter) clouding your outlook, which gives you a clearer vision of what you want to accomplish.

You have the opportunity to build a really great support system if you join online groups or start working with a coach.

Being a beginner means excitement at the thought of trying something new + that will give you motivation to start, + keep going.

You might also have a more positive attitude, since you’re so excited.

Being a beginner means you’re learning, + in that learning frame of mind, you’ll soak up a ton of information to help you become a strong communicator + presenter.

And lastly, you haven’t “picked up” any bad habits or mannerisms that aren’t your own, so you are truly authentic + authenticity is what makes a speaker so captivating.

So, don’t be intimidated – being a beginner actually has its benefits!!

Go on + make the most of this opportunity – you won’t regret it.
