Are your palms sweating + knees weak, arms heavy before your next presentation?

It’s okay to feel like spaghetti, but don’t worry, I won’t let you go mom’s spaghetti.

It’s natural to feel a little nervous before a presentation, but with the right mindset + tools, you can conquer anything! That’s where preparation comes in – it’s hands down the best way to boost your confidence + nail your delivery.

Whether you’re presenting to a client or pitching to investors, feeling confident starts with being prepared.

So start by researching your topic, + knowing who your audience is + what they need most. Then practice your speech in front of a trusted friend or a pet, even. Make some point-form notes for yourself + then rehearse some more!

The more you prepare, the less nervous you’ll feel when it’s showtime. So breathe in, breathe out, + keep calm – you got this!

Speaking of breathing – if you’re feeling like the jitters are taking over your body – the shakes, the knees knocking, the bubbling guts – try some breathing exercises to help you calm those nerves + show those jitters who’s boss!

By putting in the work, you’ll be amazed at how much more relaxed + in control you’ll feel when it’s showtime. Plus, you’ll be able to focus on connecting with your audience + delivering your message, rather than worrying about the details.

What are some of your favourite preparation methods? Share your tips + tricks in the comments below, + let’s support each other in taking on our next big speaking opportunity!
