Are you ready to slay your next presentation like Beyonce? Of course, you are!

The key to nailing it is simple: practice, practice, practice. Don’t wing it!

Take the time to rehearse your lines so you feel more comfortable + confident – it’s the #1 way to skyrocket your confidence!

So, this week on the blog, we’re talking all about practicing like a pro!

Once you’ve put in the time + effort to craft a stellar presentation, you are going to want to take that baby for a test-drive!

This will get you comfortable with your material + with performing, as well as give you a better overall look + feel of your presentation so you can make changes or adjustments at this point!

There are several different ways to practice + I suggest you start with running through your speech in front of a mirror on your own – to get comfortable with it, + see how it feels + sounds.

From there, you can record a video of yourself on your phone + watch it back to see if there are any adjustments you’d like to make to the flow of your speech. Just remember that when a lot of people see themselves on camera, they don’t like it + you may find yourself cringing like crazy! So, don’t get discouraged when you watch your video back – how you see yourself isn’t how others view you – they will probably never be as critical as you are to yourself!

Once it’s looking + feeling pretty good, try to practice in front of your dog, a friend or family member. This will get you in the situation of being in front of real life people – just please choose someone who is kind, loving + supportive + who won’t be harsh or critical on you!

Repeating your material ensures you feel more comfortable + confident come presentation day. You don’t want your mind to go blank or feel like you’re struggling to find the words. Instead, make sure you’re completely prepared so you can focus on crushing your talk with ease.

Remember to be gentle on yourself + give yourself grace – this ain’t for sissies.

So what are you waiting for? Get practicing, skyrocket your confidence + crush your upcoming presentation!
